How ECU remapping works on a diesel Opel Combo

Modern diesels are held back by conservative factory calibrations. A remap updates the fuel and boost maps stored in the ECU, which is why drivers notice stronger acceleration from low revs and less need to change down on hills or when loaded.

Ranked by power gain against the other diesel Combo engines (2 in total), the 1.7 DTI 75 is 2nd, exactly the Combo diesel average.
